Snapseed App Digital photos are great as they're free, but they do look a bit sterile compared to a 35mm print in your hand, they just lack something. Having started photography with 35mm film, I now feel content that I can mimic the look I miss using a smartphone, rather than use a digital camera, be it a DSLR, mirrorless crop sensor or a compact. Yes, I can upload an image from my Canon 550D, Sony A6000 or my Canon ixus, but I may as well use my phone as it is so convenient. As my phone is always in my pocket with the Snapseed App, complete with all my film simulation looks (preset filters), so it makes sense to just use that. All I need do is open Snapseed, open a photo, click on one of my favourite "looks", job done. I can then upload the photo to Flickr - all done on a phone!
